We succeed through efficient operations, strong teamwork, and a commitment to getting the right products onto the sales floor quickly to drive sales and deliver excellent customer experiences. Position Summary The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in the daily operations of our warehouse by supporting efficient receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory processes. This position contributes directly to customer satisfaction and store sales by ensuring products are accurately received, properly stored, and moved to the sales floor quickly and safely. Warehouse Associates are expected to maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity, and teamwork while demonstrating a customer-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for in-store customer pickups, online orders, and internal transfers. Move merchandise from the warehouse to the sales floor promptly to support sales promotions and maintain product availability. Perform stock replenishment and ensure popular items are readily accessible to prevent stockouts. Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory to maintain high inventory accuracy. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times, following all safety procedures. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and scanners responsibly. Provide excellent internal customer service by responding quickly to requests from store associates and management. Support promotional events by preparing and staging special displays and seasonal merchandise on time. Identify and report any damaged, defective, or slow-moving items to the Warehouse Manager. Work collaboratively with the warehouse team and store staff to achieve daily goals and contribute to overall store sales success. Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and help create a productive, customer-focused environment. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, retail, or stockroom experience is a plus, but not required — we provide training. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak sales periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems and scanners. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to both operational efficiency and sales goals. Forklift experience or certification is a plus (training may be provided for qualified candidates). Preferred Skills Experience in a fast-paced retail or discount store environment. Understanding of how back-of-house operations directly impact customer experience and store sales. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
