Restaurant Team Member

Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and efficient dining environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in all aspects of the position. Base pay for no prior Jersey Mikes experience or corporate certifications starts at 10.00/hour with tip share on top of that. Our goal is to train employees and achieve internal with some making it to manager/ assistant manager. Our ideal candidate should not stay at base pay for long once hired with the right attention to detail, and hard work. Duties Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or dietary needs, and provide friendly service. Handle cashier responsibilities including processing payments accurately and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food preparation zones in compliance with sanitation standards. Restock supplies, utensils, and condiments as needed throughout shifts. Buss tables promptly to ensure a clean dining environment for guests. Follow food safety protocols related to handling, storage, and sanitation to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area as required. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Skills Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurants is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and communication. This is emphasized due to all team members excluding management receive tip share on a bi-weekly bases. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic addition confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Experience with serving, bussing tables, or retail math is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts including peak hours; previous restaurant or café experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay:
