Job Description

Last‑Mile Delivery and Warehouse Operations Associate Picture your workday starting with a quick huddle, a safety check, and a review of your route. You verify orders, stage merchandise, and perform a quick vehicle inspection before heading out for local deliveries. Customers get what they need because you drive safely, handle freight with care, and double‑check accuracy. When you're back at the facility, you jump in with the warehouse team—organizing inventory, loading or unloading trucks, and keeping the space clean and safe. What you'll do Operate a company vehicle to complete local deliveries safely and on time Handle touch freight every day—load and unload products using proper techniques Lift, carry, move, and position products throughout your shift Follow all safety policies and procedures during deliveries and warehouse tasks Count and verify inventory; ensure orders are accurate before leaving the dock Pick, stage, organize, and prepare shipments Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard‑free warehouse environment Support general warehouse operations when routes are not scheduled Collaborate closely with delivery and warehouse teammates to keep operations moving What you'll bring Valid driver's license and a safe driving record Comfort with physical, hands‑on work; able to regularly lift and move heavy items Reliability and punctuality Strong attention to detail for inventory counting and order accuracy Team mindset with a positive attitude Self‑starter who can work independently and stay productive Willingness to pitch in wherever needed Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling is a plus (not required) Why Next Move Weekly pay Pathways to long‑term/permanent placement Benefits available Competitive pay Consistent, reliable work Support from the Next Move Workforce team Real opportunity to grow with a solid company Role snapshot This is a hands‑on position blending deliveries with warehouse operations.
