Job Summary
Job Summary Applies moderate to advanced knowledge of material handler processes and skills. Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities Kits production and service orders from warehouse inventory. Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications and departments other than the primary assignment.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements Other. No formal education required If applicable, a combination of experience and training may be substituted for the education requirement. Experience Requirements 1-2 year(s) Supply chain experience and/or training. Skills and Competencies Proficient in utilizing SAP regarding warehouse, shipping, and receiving transactions.
Executes tasks with limited guidance, comfortable speaking with internal leadership, user of standard software packages, able to kit complex assemblies.
Manages limited shelf life materials (SLED).
Uses powered and hand tools.
Creates shipping documents.
Works with external carriers to schedule pick-up and deliveries.
Ability to obtain NORDAM Forklift Certification, which requires valid Driver's License.
Operates standard office equipment and demonstrate competency in the use of division and company-wide specialized software applications, such as MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint.
Understanding of MRP/ERP system
- Communicates effectively in written, verbal and electronic forms with internal and external personnel.
Manufacturing/Repair Process Knowledge - Knowledge of materials/components, production/repair processes and shop flow.
Understanding of upstream and downstream business processes.
Physical Requirements
Physical Requirements Must be able to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week, if required. Additionally, those who work at NORDAM Repair Division must be able to ascend and descend stairs. Demand - Frequency Walk

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the Stakeholder is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment can vary from loud to a more moderate level.
Supervision
Supervision Goals and high level action items are provided.
Stakeholder executes reaching out to leadership when significant roadblocks are encountered.
Some oversight required along with weekly coordination.
