Your main tasks will include inspecting incoming product, moving materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations throughout the facility, conducting cycle counts, logging material movements, maintaining accurate records within our ERP software, expediting urgent material needs, and coordinating with various departments to ensure availability of items needed. You will also be required to read and interpret data, respond effectively to various situations, and learn and apply new skills.

Responsibilities:

Inspects products to ensure AQL Quality Standards. Maintains accurate records and assists in inventory control. Moves, stores, and handles materials in production facility. Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information. Data entry of product transfers and receipts. Physical Inventory Counts Ensures accurate FIFO when stocking and transferring. Collects and properly disposes of cardboard and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment. Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished products for final distribution. Collaborates with procurement staff.

Requirements:

Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position Experience in operating forklifts (forklift certified and/or willing to become certified) Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data Solid understanding of health and safety regulations Basic math and recording abilities Excellent organizational skills Great communication and interpersonal abilities Keen eye for detail Knowledge of Caliper use in inspection process Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at a time
