This position offers the opportunity to grow into additional responsibilities for someone who demonstrates initiative, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to take ownership of their work. The Warehouse Assistant supports all aspects of daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and picking. In addition to performing daily warehouse tasks, this role requires an awareness of the overall operation and the ability to identify potential issues before they become problems. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying busy, pays close attention to detail, follows established processes, communicates effectively, and is open to coaching and feedback. We are looking for someone who can work independently, exercise good judgment, and take on increasing responsibility as they develop in the role.
Work Schedule:
We are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Saturday shifts include a $1.00 more per hour for shift differential). One scheduled day off during the week (Wednesday or Friday), if working Saturday. Some Saturdays are necessary and this is flexible and can be discussed at interview.Flexible full-time schedule:
34-42 hours per week with possible overtime available.Daily Responsibilities:
- Unload delivery vehicles and verify incoming shipments.
- Review packing slips against received shipments and identify shortages, missing items, or discrepancies.
- Communicate any receiving discrepancies promptly so issues can be resolved quickly.
- Review the daily delivery schedule and communicate expected incoming deliveries to the Front of House team.
- Receive, stock, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory using established procedures.
- Use
RF-SMART
handheld devices and warehouse management systems to receive inventory and pick customer orders.- Investigate inventory discrepancies, including missing or misplaced items, using warehouse systems and internal processes.
- Create and manage pick tickets within NetSuite and Rithum.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as business needs require.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Audit inventory with regular cycle counts
- Cross-train in additional warehouse functions as needed.

- The ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- The ability to make decisions, problem-solve, and prioritize
- Being adept at seeing the "big picture" as well the small details
- Functions and operates comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment
- Timely and regular physical attendance is required
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment, exposure to varying temperatures
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
