Job Description

Nicklas Supply in Cranberry Township is seeking a Warehouse Associate. Under the general direction of the Warehouse Manager, a Warehouse Worker is responsible for receiving and processing shipments, picking and packing orders, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. They must work in an efficient and safe manner. Essential Functions Safely and efficiently receive, put away, replenish, pick, and pack orders using necessary equipment. The ability to work comfortably both independently and as part of a team in a constantly changing, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities Receiving:
Unloading trucks, inspecting deliveries, checking for damage, and ensuring accuracy against invoices.
Put Aways:
Sort, label, and store items accurately in designated warehouse or yard locations. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse areas.
Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pick-up or shipping. Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently to minimize damage or delays. Report damages and defects to supervisor.
Inventory Management:
Inform supervisor of inventory errors so records can be corrected to help in maintaining accurate and appropriate levels of stock. Help perform cycle counts and inventory audits as needed. Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
Equipment Operation:
Ability to safely operate the required equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, power and manual jacks, and other material handling equipment. Ability to pass the required testing and certifications.
Facility Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to safety regulations, and reporting any safety concerns. Remove or report hazards immediately.
Teamwork:
Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors across NSI and SPLASH to meet production goals.
Communication:
Communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
Compliance and Safety:
Follow all OSHA and NSI policies and procedures, including safety guidelines. Participate in all the required training.
Technology:
Ability to utilize required technology, including but not limited to inventory bar code equipment, phone systems, e-mail, internet, computer systems, and printers.
Other Duties:
