Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate at Horizon plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, managing inventory, supporting job functions, and ensuring the availability and maintenance of essential tools, equipment, and facilities. They must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Additionally, proficiency in inventory management software and basic maintenance tasks is expected from this role. This position is vital to smooth operation of the overall business as they execute the list of responsibilities below.Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the movement of materials within the warehouse or to external sites.
- Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of all transfers.
- Process requests for returning warranty and repair materials - packaging, labels, tracking
- Maintain organized records of returned items.
- Process the receipt of incoming shipments in Foundation
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for ongoing projects, ensuring adequate stock availability.
- Create receipts list to be distributed to Project Managers and other persons
- Pull material from inventory for jobs
- Oversee the tool and high-value asset rooms, fortifying security and organization.
- Manage job deliveries as well as job pick-ups as requested
- Manage and distribute tools for technicians and new hires
- Inventory cycle counting
- General maintenance (as required) of: o Trash removal throughout the building o Snow removal o Restroom supplies o Copy paper o HVAC filter replacement o Light Bulb replacement
- Assist in managing fleet maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs and servicing.
- Manage distribution of available fleet
- Track company equipment - computers, tablets, cell phones, laptops
- Vehicle maintenance
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma, additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and/or software.
- Experience managing tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance procedures and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and record-keeping.
- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.
