Job Description

Overview Remington Lighting Inc. is a bespoke lighting company/manufacturer. We focus primarily on the needs of hospitality clients and provide custom hotel lighting designs for North America's leading hotel brands. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to complete our team. The position is full-time and permanent. Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of tasks, to receive, inspect, store and ship lighting products. The ideal candidate will know how to drive a forklift. Tasks require manual skills and efforts. Key Responsibilities Receiving Receive/unload trucks/containers of merchandise and sort products by SKU code, size, color, etc. Ensure the accuracy of received orders and complete receiving documents. Store products in the warehouse. Identify received products and update information systems. Order Preparation Pick and palletize products according to received orders. Enter stock information into the client's order management system. Verify prepared orders to ensure accuracy. Complete internal shipping documents and forward them to the billing department. Maintain an organized warehouse by keeping work areas clean, ordered, and free of hazards. Shipping Assemble and package products. Verify received products. Product transformation. Maintain the shipping service level during daily and weekly rotations and during order peaks. Conduct weekly inventory of products. Identify and document damaged products. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience in logistics, or distribution environment preferred. Experience driving forklifts to move products, prepare orders and receive inventory (certification a plus) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multi-task Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods Must work well in a team, as well as independently. General computer skills for inventory and shipping software
