About the Role As a Logistics Warehouse Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods by managing precise shipping and receiving operations. You will leverage your expertise in inventory systems and logistics coordination to guarantee that every delivery meets rigorous quality and safety standards, ultimately driving customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Ensure accuracy in all incoming and outgoing shipments by reconciling physical inventory against bills of lading, invoices, and purchase orders. Maintain high-integrity digital records and logs within SAP and Microsoft Excel to track goods receipt and movement. Execute specialized packaging protocols to ensure product integrity, adhering to specific sales order requirements and industry best practices. Manage complex logistics by coordinating hazardous material shipments in compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulatory standards. Optimize distribution workflows by determining the most efficient shipping methods, routes, and carrier systems. Facilitate warehouse operations by loading and unloading freight, managing supply inventory, and providing essential facility support. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in professional shipping, receiving, and packaging. Proven ability to operate forklifts and hand trucks safely in a warehouse environment. Proficiency in computer-based inventory systems and administrative documentation. Physical capability to lift 50lbs or more consistently. Preferred Skills Direct experience with international shipping regulations and global logistics coordination. Familiarity with hazardous material handling and safety compliance. Strong problem-solving skills regarding carrier rates and freight scheduling.
