Your expertise in operating heavy machinery will directly impact our operational efficiency and help maintain a seamless flow of materials throughout the facility. Responsibilities Navigate industrial forklifts through high-traffic and confined areas to transport raw materials to production stations. Execute precise lifting, pulling, and pushing of materials from elevated heights to optimize storage and retrieval processes. Conduct rigorous safety inspections on all equipment and materials to ensure a hazard-free work environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline material movement and meet daily production targets. Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and positioning items weighing up to 50 lbs, to support assembly workflows. Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements to uphold site standards. Required Skills Proven experience operating a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent mounting and dismounting of equipment. Strong commitment to workplace safety and following standardized operating procedures. Effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members. Preferred Skills Valid forklift certification or license. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Demonstrated aptitude for learning new processes and equipment operation.
