Job Overview We are seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Associate/Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse, covering shipping, receiving, forklift use, inventory control, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Rate:

Starting at $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:

11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday thru Friday. Responsibilities Operate forklift and hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments, areas or trucks. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and pick tickets.. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring all items are correctly packaged. Band, wrap, label and prepare goods for shipping. Perform computer functions necessary to ship and track various aspects of shipments. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and aisles clear. Sweep, dust, and mop, and handle trash removal. Perform pickups and deliveries to local suppliers using company vehicles. Assist in Return Authorization vendor repair requests, monitoring and communication. Light production as needed - batching, stickers, etc Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and address any discrepancies in shipments. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Clean Driving Record with valid license, required - with reliable transportation to work. Forklift Certification, preferred Ability to accurately read pick tickets to complete shipping labels. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed throughout the shift. Ability to stand,bend, climb, and work on your feet throughout the shift. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks safely. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately handle packages and shipments. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
