Overview Spectrum Metals is a stainless steel and aluminum coil processing company located in Warminster, PA. We are looking for an experienced, dependable person to join our warehouse team. This position will focus primarily on packaging finished coils, moving material throughout the warehouse, and safely loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working around heavy steel coils and industrial equipment and who can help keep finished material moving efficiently from production through shipment. Duties Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal coils throughout the facility Load and unload coils and other materials from trucks Package finished coils for shipment according to customer and company requirements Band, wrap, label, weigh, and prepare finished material for shipping Position coils on skids/pallets and prepare materials for safe transportation Build and assemble wooden skids to properly support and secure coils for safe storage and shipment Verify material, coil identification, quantities, weights, and shipping paperwork prior to loading Organize finished goods and maintain an orderly shipping and staging area Coordinate with production and shipping personnel to prioritize orders and keep trucks moving efficiently Assist with other warehouse and material-handling responsibilities as needed Qualifications Prior experience operating a forklift preferred Prior experience operating an overhead bridge crane preferred Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for material handling, packaging, and skid preparation Experience loading and unloading trucks in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred Steel service center, metal processing, coil handling, or other heavy-material experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a warehouse team Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work on your feet throughout the shift Ability to lift heavy amounts as needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from our Warminster, PA facility required High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay:

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
