Job Description:
TTI Power Equipment has openings in its Anderson, SC location for Material Handler - Production/Sub-Assembly that will support the Assembly Department. A Material Handler - Production/Sub-Assembly is responsible for safely removing, sorting, storing, and processing waste materials from production-manufacturing areas, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities Transport waste (such as cardboard, used packaging materials, and trash) from manufacturing and rework areas to designated areas using a tugger, pallet jacks, hand trucks, utility tilt tracks and tow tractors. Inspect and maintain handling equipment, follow OSHA and safety protocols, and handle hazardous materials according to regulations. Maintain clean and orderly workspaces, assist with 5S initiatives, and perform general housekeeping tasks Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Qualifications Prefer High School education or 2-3 years of experience working in manufacturing, production, or warehouse operations. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of safety standards, quality control, and inventory management systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Physical Demands Standing/Walking for extended periods of time. Repetitive motion. Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers. Frequent lifting up to 50lbs - team lifts over 50lbs. Able to work in various temperature conditions.
