Job Description

We are seeking Warehouse Technicians ($22.63/hr) for our First Quality Tissue facility located in Anderson, SC. Warehouse Operator Technicians are responsible for safely executing warehouse tasks per policies and procedures to support inventory accuracy, loading, unloading and housekeeping efforts. Must be able to work 12 hour night shifts, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
Must have at least 5 years experience with pole lifts and/or clamp forklifts- Responsible for quality/customer satisfaction in regard to product integrity during the loading, unloading, and warehousing process.
- Operates radio frequency equipment to conduct inventory control movements, loading, and physical inventories.
- Responsible for observing safety rules and performing in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Responsible for inspecting equipment used on a shift basis and reports defects to Management.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facilities.
- Stores and handles the product in accordance to warehouse policies and procedures.
- Supports production lines with material requests.
- Assists Inventory Specialist with conducting inventories when necessary.
- Ensures the integrity and accuracy of all inventories on a daily basis.
- Maintains an efficient product flow throughout the warehouse operation.
- Assists with repack operations when necessary.
- Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 5 years experience with pole lifts and/or clamp forklifts- High School diploma or equivalent education/experience required.
- Ability to operate fork trucks safely and efficiently.
- Fundamental knowledge of general warehouse procedures and product codes.
- Fundamental computer knowledge and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment on a rotating shift schedule.
