In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking, loading, transporting, and delivering parcels while maintaining safety standards and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Pick and pack orders accurately using barcode scanning systems to ensure correct shipments. Load and unload packages using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo forklifts following safety protocols. Transport parcels between warehouses, distribution centers, and delivery points efficiently while adhering to traffic and safety regulations. Operate various warehouse materials handling equipment safely, including reach trucks, order pickers, lift trucks, and manual handling tools. Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems (WMS). Ensure all shipping and receiving processes are completed smoothly with proper documentation. Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or equipment operation. Skills Proficient in warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload procedures, and inventory management. Experienced with materials handling equipment such as forklifts (reach truck, cherry picker, forklift safety protocols), pallet jacks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and barcode scanning for logistics. Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes along with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling guidelines. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments like OSHA regulations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
