30AM Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Picker/Packer and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that each order is fulfilled with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Efficiently pick items from inventory using order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, or forklift equipment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring quality control standards are met for safe delivery. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and update order statuses. Load and unload shipments utilizing pallet jacks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment while following safety procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning for logistics, stock counts, and cycle counts. Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying orders against shipping documents and inspecting incoming goods for damage or discrepancies. Support warehouse operations by stocking shelves, organizing materials handling areas, and ensuring the workspace remains clean and safe. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique and PPE use. Excellent attention to detail for order picking, packing accuracy, quality control, and barcode scanning. Basic math skills for counting items, measuring quantities, and verifying shipments. Familiarity with safety protocols related to warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling.
