Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate will efficiently pick and stack orders for shipment. In addition, this position will maintain the highest level of accuracy while maintaining production levels which meet or exceed established standards. The Order Selector will also contribute to a safe and clean work environment.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record
- Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) scanners to select items according to the customers orders
- Perform at levels equal to or exceeding company production efficiency standards
- Pick items at accuracy levels equal to or exceeding established company standards
- Ensure that items being picked are neat, clean, and in good condition
- Ensure that hazardous items being picked are properly identified
- Actively participates in a safe work environment by following company safety rules and expecting the same out of their coworkers
- Actively participates in a clean work environment by maintaining their work area and expecting the same out of their coworkers
- Promotes a team environment through cooperation, positive attitude, and professionalism when dealing with coworkers, supervision, customers, sales, and corporate
- Ability to utilize effective verbal and written communications including legible handwriting
- Ability to work necessary hours including overtime when needed due to workload volumes
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- RF knowledge a plus
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to follow orders with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, and customers
- Certified to operate forklift
