Job Description

Material Handler I Your role As a Material Handler, your mission is to play a crucial role in the efficient flow and management of materials within our operations. Your primary objective is to ensure timely and accurate handling, storage, and movement of materials to support production and distribution needs. Utilize your expertise in logistics and inventory management to maintain optimal levels of inventory while minimizing waste and costs. Through proactive problem-solving and attention to detail, strive to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Embrace a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork to uphold our standards of excellence in material handling. You will Recognize interruptions to normal material flow and report to team leader. Prioritize activities and take necessary actions to meet production targets. Assist with the implementation of warehouse and management processes. Regular lifting of up to 40 pounds required with no assistance. Electric hoist use required (training will be provided on site) Daily use of the warehouse management system for locating inventory efficiently. Have a high regard for safety and quality standards and make sure housekeeping standards are met daily. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:
PC literate and basic knowledge of: MS Office (Word, Excel and Access)
AS400/ BPCS
applications Able to work in a team, constructive and positive attitude. Clean and orderly Accurate and independent Good communication skills
Education and Experience:
Position requires a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing and/ or warehousing experience required. 2 to 3 years of forklift experience is required.
