Job Description
•Total Maintenance Solutions South is hiring a Warehouse Associate to be an integral part of its sales support team. The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for shipping and receiving products into the warehouse, carefully placing products in their proper bin locations to minimize inventory/purchasing issues and back orders. Position is fast-paced, subject to extreme temperatures (hot and cold), and labor intensive. Hours are 8:00am to 5:00 pm. • Responsibilities include: Cycle Counting of items selected by inventory control program. Cycle Counting must be done prior to start of workday. Look at UPS Quantum view to determine which POs will be received today. Reprint the day's incoming POs and transfers. Use this reprint as a receiving document. Manually check items received on the printed PO/transfer and count the items received. Tag received items with appropriate labels and place them in proper bin locations. Pull and ship orders daily, including back orders and special orders. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse shelves, floor, etc. including sweeping floor, removing empty bins, and reorganizing shelves as needed. Build Kits and other Build of Material items as needed. Fill and ship transfers to Houston Distribution Center as needed. Inform purchasing of unexpected shortages or surpluses as needed. Perform other duties as assigned
