POSITION
Summary The Warehouse Associate must work safely and productively on various sized project sites and at other company facilities. A successful candidate in this role must be highly motivated and willing to complete any task assigned, along with performing the essential duties of the Warehouse Associate position. All employees are expected to communicate, always build relationships with other team members, and use good judgment. The Warehouse Associate is expected to have the ability to perform all duties of the positions preceding it in its specific career path, while being responsible and accountable to complete any other tasks assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Work in a safe manner, recognize and correct shop hazards, and comply with WBC safety requirements Serve as a safe and productive member of the Asset Group Receive in and put away, to inventory, any and all materials, tools, or supplies that are shipped or delivered to the warehouse or yard Receive in and put away any and all repaired and "ready to use" tools from the service center or vender Pull and stage all materials, tools, and supplies from the warehouse and yard for field requests Pull, stage and load formwork field rental requests Process and return, to inventory, any materials or supplies that are unused or not needed from job requests Directly assist all service technicians with parts research and requests. Order, process and pull Service Center parts and supplies that are requested from inventory Make/receive calls from venders concerning part and material research and order such products accordingly Perform web-based research for parts and materials Have a strong understanding and the ability to operate computer programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Warehouse Management Software, etc. Maintain records of all requests and shipments for future access and reconciliation Perform monthly inventory and report results to Supervisor Process dock shipments, UPS, FedEx deliveries, etc. and dispatch the items to the appropriate party Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, racking, shelving, and dock area Strive to achieve a standard of excellence with your work processes and outcomes, honoring WBC policies and all regulatory requirements Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned ID21 Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Good communication, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and computer skills required Good written and verbal communication skills and customer care skills necessary Ability to prioritize assignments, stay on task, and take initiative Strong attention to detail, follow up, and follow through Be receptive to feedback, willing to learn, and embrace continuous improvement Working Conditions Indoors
