This position is in a fast-paced graphics and production environment where accuracy, quality, safety, and attention to detail are essential. We are looking for candidates who are dependable, take pride in their work, and are seeking consistent full-time employment. The Material Cutter is responsible for safely and accurately measuring, aligning, and cutting plastic materials according to the specifications provided on each work order.

Pay Rate:

$17.00 per hour

Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM-8:00

Bilingual Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely and accurately measure and cut plastic materials according to work order specifications. Read and follow work orders, measurements, dimensions, and production instructions. Use a tape measure to accurately measure and align materials before cutting. Safely operate box knives and other hand-cutting tools required for the position. Ensure materials are properly aligned before completing cuts. Verify measurements and completed cuts for accuracy and quality. Inspect materials for defects, damage, or inconsistencies. Follow established production procedures and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors and production team members. Complete assigned work accurately and within expected production timelines. Assist with additional production duties as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Bilingual communication skills required. Must be reliable, dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent attendance. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Comfortable using box knives and basic hand tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Must be safety-conscious and follow established workplace safety procedures. Previous experience in manufacturing, printing, graphics, material cutting, or a similar production environment is preferred.
