Driver/Warehouse Associate

The Backyard & Patio Store in Austin, TX is looking for a Residential Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to handle, load, and deliver outdoor and patio products directly to customer homes in a safe and timely manner. This position is best suited for someone that is comfortable with physically challenging but rewarding work. Applicants with furniture moving background are welcome. Skills and Experience Needed Delivering and assembly at residential and commercial sites. Self-motivated and disciplined individual. Strong work ethic and dedication. Responsible for managing all merchandise during deliveries. Timely completion of deliveries is important. Care for company trucks, equipment and property is necessary. Additional duties will include loading and unloading trucks, assisting in warehouse, and store maintenance as needed. Requirements Valid Texas driver's license. Experience operating a box truck and trailer. Commitment to safe and respectful driving practices. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required. MVR, background check, and drug screening are required. Must be able and willing to follow instructions. Reliable transportation to and from work is necessary. Understanding of what constitutes good customer service.
