Full Time SUMMARY The Warehouse Technician I supports day-to-day operations within the 503B facility, ensuring efficient handling of materials and compliance with company standards. This role involves assisting with shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate inventory, and preparing materials for production. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and can safely lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with inventory management systems and familiarity with pharmaceutical or regulated environments is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database. Coordinates the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment and handling raw materials and finished products. Implement daily production and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse. Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments. Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items. Identifies and reports slow-moving product and with approval, arranges for the removal of the product. Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed. Operates forklift truck as needed. Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports. Performs other related duties as directed. Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received by items ordered Monitor inventory levels to identify the need for replenishment at or within prescribed levels
EDUCATION / TRAINING
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree desired. Valid state motor vehicle operator's license for forklift truck required. At least two years of work experience in a warehouse are required. Forklift certified.
WORK EXPERIENCE
SAP/ Oracle experience is highly preferred. Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology. Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
(OPTIONAL) Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Ability to move around the warehouse. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
