Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures and work instructions. Forklift certification is a plus but not required. Experience Requirements 1+ yeras of shipping and receiving experience. Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts is a plus. Ability to accurately count, inspect, label, and organize freight. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience loading and unloading trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles. Familiarity with shipping documentation, freight labels, and inventory processes. Experience scanning and tracking freight in a warehouse environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and customer service skills. Physical Capabilities Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to safely load and unload freight by hand. Comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment. Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and moving freight. Job Duties Load and unload freight from trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles. Move materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts when certified. Verify freight counts and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies. Label, sort, stage, and route freight to the correct destination. Build, break down, wrap, and secure pallets for safe transportation. Hand-load and unload containers while maintaining productivity and accuracy. Scan, identify, and organize freight using shipping and receiving documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping and receiving goals. Provide accurate and timely freight handling to support customer satisfaction. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and warehouse procedures. Report damaged freight, inventory issues, or safety concerns to management. You will verify inventory, maintain accurate product locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure safe, efficient movement of products while following established workplace procedures.
