Job Description
Job Overview Under general direction of Transportation Business leadership, supports analytics, data modeling, and forecasting efforts to optimize traffic, transportation, and parking operations across the Transportation Business Unit (TBU). Utilizes statistical and quantitative analysis, predictive modeling, and other data science methodologies to inform operational decisions that enhance customer experience and strengthen daily airport operations What you will be doing: Supports the development and application of advanced quantitative analyses, predictive modeling, and AI-driven forecasting to assess and optimize parking and transportation operations. Supports parking and transportation operations by maintaining a holistic understanding of business risks and opportunities, and leverages technology to help the team improve efficiency and maintain competitive advantage. Maintains dynamic dashboards and reporting tools using software such as Tableau, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools to provide real-time operational insights. Automates data processing and analytics workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability, utilizing Python, R, SQL, or other cloud-based data solutions. Conducts market and financial trend analysis to forecast business activity and generate strategic models and recommendations for senior leadership. Leverages business intelligence tools and quantitative data from multiple sources to manage trend analysis, forecasts, market share analysis, and customer experience at the Airport and in the industry. Collaborates with DFW Information Technology Services (ITS) to develop and manage the reporting of parking and transportation related data. Assists with maintaining data integrity and reliable data pipelines, by collaborating within the Transportation Business unit in maintaining data governance as a TBU Data Steward. Prepares and delivers presentations and reports on analytical findings and strategic insights, while incorporating automation, developing forecasts, and managing data quality. Collaborates with teams across the airport to integrate analytics-driven strategies into operational planning and execution, while supporting junior analysts in fostering a data-driven culture within the Transportation Business Unit. Performs other related duties as assigned.
