Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

Read shipping orders and identify how to best package products for safe shipping Craft custom shipping container using existing crates and wood materials Pack and pad products in custom crate mitigating risk of damage during shipping process Fulfill orders accurately and timely Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments Perform all other duties as assigned working directly under the Operations Manager Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have a can do attitude and works well in a team environment Measurement and math skills to determine shipping container dimensions General craftmanship skills working with wood and hand or power tools Prior experience in assembly and/or wood craftsmanship Independent judgement and problem solving skills Attention to detail Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred This department makes customer pallets and crates, so they need to be familiar and comfortable with power saws, nail guns, and other wood working tools. They don't need to be a master carpenter or anything. Anyone who is so inclined can easily be taught on the job, but having that base or background is definitely going to give someone an advantage.
