In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and control systems that power homes and businesses. Responsibilities include inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards. You will collaborate with a diverse, innovative team, contribute to sustainability initiatives, and gain opportunities for technical growth and advancement within the energy sector. Responsibilities Monitor and maintain operation of power generation and distribution equipment Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to ensure safe and reliable energy delivery Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance procedures Document work performed, maintenance records, and system performance data Collaborate with engineers and operators on system improvements and upgrades Respond to alarms and outages, assisting in emergency repairs and restorations Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime Required Skills Power plant operations Electrical systems maintenance Mechanical systems maintenance SCADA or plant control systems Equipment troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Reading technical schematics and diagrams Regulatory and safety compliance Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Industrial instrumentation and controls
