Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, move, and organize materials safely and accurately Manage inventory control through precise stock counting, tracking using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software such as AS400 Assist with shipping and receiving activities by preparing orders for dispatch and verifying incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling to ensure safe movement of goods within the warehouse Support warehouse distribution operations by stocking shelves, picking & packing customer orders, and preparing items for shipment in accordance with safety regulations (OSHA standards) Maintain safety protocol adherence by using personal protective equipment (PPE), following safety regulations, and participating in safety training sessions Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with logistics procedures Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, and pallet jacks in a warehouse environment Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software like AS400, and basic math skills for stock calculations Mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment operation and troubleshooting minor issues Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to OSHA safety standards and using appropriate PPE Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced setting Join us in creating an efficient, safe, and productive warehouse environment!
