Production Associate Job Summary:
The General Labor Associate supports manufacturing and production operations by assembling components, handling materials, inspecting products, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The associate works as part of a production team to meet quality and productivity standards while following company safety procedures. Typical assembly and production roles involve assembling components, using hand and power tools, performing quality inspections, packaging finished products, and supporting continuous production flow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble products and components according to work instructions and specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively. Perform visual inspections and quality checks on finished products. Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the production area. Maintain accurate production records as required. Keep workstations clean and organized in accordance with safety standards. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals. Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to management. Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing processes. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
