Job Description

Production Operator / General Laborer We are seeking a dependable Production Operator / General Laborer to support daily manufacturing operations. This position will operate production equipment, monitor product quality, maintain a clean and safe work area, and assist with material handling and general production duties. Experience working around c hemicals or in light chemical manufacturing is preferred. Job Duties & Responsibilities Operate production equipment and perform tasks as instructed or trained by the supervisor. Monitor product quality throughout the production process and immediately report any potential compliance or quality issues. Perform equipment start-up and shutdown procedures. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), company policies, and safety regulations. Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) for each task. Maintain accurate production counts and complete required documentation. Participate in cross-training for various production-line positions. Keep production lines and work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards. Grease, adjust, clean, and perform basic maintenance on designated production equipment as part of the autonomous maintenance program. Load and unload materials, parts, and finished products manually or with mechanical equipment. Transfer raw materials and finished products throughout the facility. Stack and organize processed materials in the warehouse. Pack finished products into appropriate containers. Perform painting duties as needed. Perform general labor duties as required to meet production needs. Attend safety meetings and participate in safety audits. Assist with maintaining safe and efficient production operations. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Experience working with chemicals or in light chemical manufacturing is preferred. Forklift experience is a plus. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills. Ability to maintain accurate production counts and documentation. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Must be willing to cross-train in multiple production positions. Strong attention to quality, safety, and detail. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
