Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Weslaco, TX. This vital role involves supporting efficient warehouse distribution operations through accurate inventory control, safe handling of materials, and proficient use of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a strong commitment to safety regulations, and possess excellent technical proficiency with warehouse management systems and material handling equipment. Duties Operate various types of heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and cranes to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse. Manage inventory through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and updates using inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS). Assist with order picking, packing, and fulfillment processes to ensure timely shipment of goods. Conduct shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. Maintain safety standards by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA regulations, and following safety protocols during all warehouse operations. Support materials handling tasks such as manual lifting, pallet jack operation, and proper packaging of products for shipment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and cranes. Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including inventory control, shipping & receiving, order picking & packing. Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory levels. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper use of PPE during all tasks. Previous experience in warehouse supervision or logistics is highly desirable. Pay:
$8.25 - $10.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
