Responsibilities Assist with the mooring and unmooring of boats, ensuring safe and efficient docking procedures Use rigging techniques to secure vessels properly, following safety protocols Perform basic mechanical tasks such as inspecting and maintaining dock equipment, including winches, cleats, and ropes Support boat owners and operators with water safety Conduct routine inspections of the dock area to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock area to promote a safe working environment Experience Previous experience working in maritime or dockside environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of rigging techniques and mechanical systems is highly advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail and safety awareness are essential for success in this role Basic understanding of mechanical tools and equipment operation is a plus Willingness to learn new skills related to marina operations and vessel handling Bonus Having a 4x4 truck will​ be an added monetary bonus​ This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their maritime skills in a lively setting.
