Job Description
CHEMetrics, located in Midland, VA, and a subsidiary of AquaPhoenix Scientific, has an immediate opening for a reliable and detailed-oriented Receiving and Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting receiving, shipping, and general warehouse functions — including the movement, storage, and tracking of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods. The Receiving and Warehouse Associate is a full-time, hourly position with full company benefits. This position does not have any direct management responsibility and has no direct reports. This hands-on position requires the drive and persistence to meet the following Company goals: Superior customer service and team collaboration Commitment to safety, accuracy, and efficiency On-time attendance and flexibility throughout the day to assist as needed AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the Receiving and Warehouse Associate position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two or more years' work experience in a shipping, logistics, warehousing, inventory or similar role. Although not all inclusive, additional responsibilities, expectations and skills will include: Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods and accurately enter data into the ERP system. Move materials between departments/locations, including hazardous materials and finished products. Pull, prepare, and ship customer orders (loose cartons and pallets) ensuring quality and timely delivery.
