Warehouse Assistant

Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Assistant who enjoys working in the warehouse—not sitting behind a desk. You'll be receiving, staging, tracking inventory, and job preparation, so installers leave fully prepared every day. This Is a Hands-On Position This is a hands-on leadership position—not a desk job. You'll spend your day preparing projects, receiving materials, organizing inventory, solving problems, and keeping the warehouse running ahead of schedule.   • Receive and inspect incoming materials.
  • Prepare, inspect, label, and stage every installation.
  • Keep inventory accurate and organized.
  • Identify problems before installation day.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, efficient warehouse.

This Probably Isn't a Good Fit If You... Want to supervise other people. Prefer a desk to the warehouse floor. Do not enjoy detail work.
Qualifications:
  • 1 year or more in warehouse operations
  • Able to lift 20-80 pounds
  • Ability to work standing on concrete for 8 hour shifts regularly.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, reading designs and parts lists
  • Accurate measuring and cutting skills
  • Forklift experience a plus.

After 90 days you will contribute to the team having:
  • Projects consistently ready before installation day.
  • A warehouse that's organized and running smoothly.
  • Problems caught before they affect customers.
An installation team that trusts the warehouse is always ready.
