Job Summary We are seeking a hardworking, dependable, and physically active Warehouse Associate to join our flooring store team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling heavy inventory, loading and unloading materials, preparing customer orders, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. Because flooring materials (such as hardwood, tile, carpet rolls, and LVP) are heavy and delicate, attention to detail and physical stamina are essential.

Key Responsibilities Inventory Management:

Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of tile, hardwood, carpet, laminate, and installation supplies.

Order Fulfillment:

Accurately pull and stage products for customer pickups and contractor deliveries.

Material Handling:

Safely lift, move, and stack heavy flooring products using proper safety gear and equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks).

Warehouse Maintenance:

Keep the warehouse, showroom backrooms, and loading docks organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.

Customer Service:

Assist customers and contractors with loading purchased materials into their vehicles in a polite and efficient manner.

Cycle Counts:

Assist with periodic physical inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs regularly and stand, bend, or walk for extended periods.

Experience:

Previous warehouse, logistics, or heavy-material handling experience is preferred (experience in the flooring or building supply industry is a major plus).

Equipment Skills:

Valid driver's license and ability to operate (or willingness to be certified on) a forklift and pallet jack.

Reliability:

Punctual, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Communication:
