PrideStaff is actively recruiting on behalf of a large, multinational air logistics company to find dedicated and high-energy Warehouse Associates for their SeaTac cross-dock operation. In this fast-paced environment, you will be an essential link in the global supply chain, ensuring goods move efficiently from the warehouse to the sky. You will work in a bustling facility loading, sorting, scanning, and routing packages to their appropriate global destinations. Powering up the supply chain: Load and unload express packages from air freight containers to and from semi-trucks across a widely dispersed area.Mastering warehouse flow:
Sort, scan, hand-sort, and navigate small packages within the warehouse, ensuring accurate labeling and routing.Launch packages skyward:
Build up and break down package containers so they are ready for inbound and outbound flights.Command the equipment:
Operate air freight handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, to move cargo from the warehouse to the trucks with precision.Safety & Compliance:
Perform all functions strictly in accordance with safety procedures and policies. Remove tie-downs and other gear safely when loading/unloading. Maintain a clean work environment and consistently adhere to company performance standards.Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.Age:
Must be at least 18 years of age.Experience:
One year of experience in a similar warehouse, logistics, or sorting role is preferred, but not required.Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds. This role requires working both indoors and outdoors, which includes exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise, and fumes.Communication:
Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Must be able to comprehend and react quickly to verbal commands and safety warnings.Availability:
Ability to report on time as scheduled. Must have the flexibility to accommodate mandatory overtime, varying shifts, weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and holidays.Clearance:
Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
