Manufacturing Material Handler Columbia Consulting Group - 5.0 Seattle, WA Job Details Full-time | Contract $22 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications Microsoft Outlook Interpersonal skills Spreadsheets High school diploma or GED Adaptability Materials handling SAP EWM Full Job Description Position Summary The Material Handler is responsible for providing material movement and logistics support to internal and external customers at our research laboratories in Seattle. As part of the Supply Chain group, the Material Handler will help facilitate the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods with our laboratories located in Seattle. Key Responsibilities Retrieve and deliver products with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Support lab staff with any material needs and inquiries. Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts, material stocking, and scrapping. Manage material expiry, allocation, and maintain material storage requirements. Serve as escort; assist with delivery personnel for unloading and loading of materials. Work cohesively within a team-based, cross-functional environment to complete warehousing tasks. Assist with time and temperature sensitive material to ensure the correct delivery to storage location occurs within a timely manner. Strong customer service skill set. Work closely with researchers to fulfill warehouse Raw Material Requests. Receive and manage all lot-controlled material. Unpack applicable deliveries, verify accuracy of shipment, and perform receiving transactions in ERP (SAP) system and put away to appropriate warehouse location. Ability to build effective relationships within the company across several departments. Act as a service provider to multiple intracompany clients and departments. Collect packing slips and electronically receive after verification of proper delivery. Maintain a neat and organized warehouse space. Perform other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience High school Diploma / GED and 1 to 3 years of material handling experience. Additional post-secondary education resulting in an associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Suite. (Excel, Work, Outlook) Experience with Inventory Systems and ERP systems. (SAP EWM) The ability to adapt to rapid change, wear multiple hats, and work under pressure.
