Entry-Level Warehouse Worker (Temp-to-Hire) 23/hr Job Description We are seeking an entry-level Warehouse Worker to join a family-owned plumbing distribution company. This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated to learn, grow with the company, and build a long-term career. No prior warehouse experience is preferred, as training will be provided. In this role, you will process work orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment where priorities can change hour by hour. The position involves light computer work, order picking, and operating warehouse equipment. Responsibilities Process plumbing distribution work orders accurately throughout the day Perform hour-to-hour order processing and adapt to changing priorities Pick orders using an RF scanner Utilize shipping and inventory systems (training provided) Operate stand-up or sit-down forklifts to move product as needed Handle, organize, and stage materials in warehouse locations Work independently while supporting a small warehouse team Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate effectively with team members and leadership Essential Skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where orders change frequently Ability to pick orders accurately and efficiently Willingness to use RF scanners and warehouse systems Basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation Strong attention to detail and reliability Additional Skills & Qualifications (Nice to Have) Forklift experience (stand-up or sit-down), or willingness to be trained Previous warehouse or distribution exposure (not required) Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude Interest in long-term growth and learning warehouse operations Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
