Washougal, WA Kemira is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Bulk Material Handler to support manufacturing operations by moving, storing, and supplying bulk raw materials and finished products throughout the facility. This role is responsible for operating material handling equipment, including a semi with tankers, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, and coordinating deliveries with third-party carriers. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures. Load and unload trucks, railcars, storage tanks, and trailers. Safely transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility. Move and stage trailers within the plant using a semi truck. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability for production. Coordinate shipment schedules with third-party carriers. Perform inventory, billing, and material transactions accurately. Support inventory counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Call-outs (overtime) on weekends are a regular occurrence. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Basic computer and math skills. CDL preferred but not required. Manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred. Forklift certification or experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment and wear required PPE. However, wages may vary depending on location and local market conditions.
