Logistics Coordinator - Data Center Construction Job Description The Logistics Coordinator plays a central role on a data center construction site by managing how materials are delivered, stored, moved, and used to support daily operations. In this position, you ensure that construction and electrical materials are unloaded safely, moved efficiently, and organized in designated areas so tradespeople always have what they need at the right time. You work closely with onsite electricians and project teams to keep materials flowing smoothly and support the overall success of the project. Responsibilities Unload construction and electrical supply materials safely and efficiently upon delivery to the job site. Move materials and equipment to designated areas across the site, ensuring items are staged where and when they are needed. Maintain organized storage and laydown areas so materials are easy to locate and access for all onsite teams. Work closely with electricians to ensure they have the necessary supplies and equipment to complete their work on schedule. Coordinate material handling activities to support daily construction operations and minimize delays. Communicate clearly with onsite leadership, tradespeople, and other team members to understand material needs and priorities. Support general labor tasks related to logistics and material handling as required by site operations. Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability to support project timelines and maintain continuity of site operations. Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE while working indoors and outdoors in a construction environment. Adapt to changing site conditions, schedules, and material demands while maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude. Essential Skills At least 2 years of consistent work history that demonstrates reliability and strong attendance. Experience with logistics, general labor, and material handling in a construction or similar environment. Ability to unload and move electrical supply equipment and other construction materials safely to designated areas on the job site. Strong communication skills, including the ability to work well with others onsite and communicate effectively with leadership. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis. Comfort working in both indoor and outdoor construction environments in all weather conditions. Commitment to following safety procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment. Work Environment This role is based on a construction job site at a data center, working both outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions. Typical hours are approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., totaling around 40-50 hours per week, with start times subject to project needs. The dress code includes steel-toe boots and work pants appropriate for a construction setting. The client provides required PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and high-visibility gear, ensuring you can perform your duties safely and effectively. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Beaver Dam, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
