Warehouse Worker
Job Description
Job Description This role involves working in a busy warehouse environment where you will pick and verify orders, build pallets, and ensure shipments are accurate using various types of material handling equipment. You will contribute to efficient warehouse operations by moving, storing, and preparing products for shipment while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Responsibilities Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders accurately using material handling equipment and RF scanners. Build and wrap pallets to ensure products are secure and ready for shipment. Load, unload, move, and store products within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed to support daily operations. Verify product quantities and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met. Maintain inventory accuracy by completing required documentation and updating records as directed. Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and company policies while performing warehouse tasks. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe working environment. Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned by leadership. Stand and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including lifting and moving items as required. Essential Skills Experience working in a warehouse environment, with the ability to perform general labor and material handling tasks. At least 6 months of forklift operating experience. Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts. Proficiency with RF scanners for order picking and inventory tasks. Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per shift. Ability to lift 20 or more pounds on a regular basis. Attention to detail when picking orders, verifying quantities, and inspecting materials for accuracy and quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and company policies. Strong work ethic and reliability in a production and packaging environment. Work Environment The work requires standing for the majority of the shift and performing physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and stacking products.
Multiple shift options are available:
1st shift Monday-Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 2nd shift Monday-Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 3rd shift Monday-Friday from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Weekend shifts Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
