Manitowoc, WI Description / Scope / Mission Responsible for material movements within Warehouse Department including loading trucks, unloading trucks or internal movements between Production and storage locations. Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities 1. Unload trucks. 2. Load trucks. 3. Move materials to and from bin locations. 4. Access computer to enter or view inventory movements. 5. Perform physical counts of inventory. 6. Rotation of stock as needed. 7. Adhere to established procedures for identifying/marking materials. 8. Some positions required to take samples of raw materials for quality purposes. 9. Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
MARGINAL JOB DUTIES
1. Maintain clean and orderly work area. 2. Change forklift batteries as required. 3. Exercise safe material handling techniques. 4. Notify supervisor of any mechanical issues or failures.
Education / Certification
/ Qualifications / Experience High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Some warehouse experience a plus. Basic computer skills and math skills. Read, write and speak basic English language
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Forklift certification or obtain upon hire.

Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors). Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point). Dept perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships). Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).

Forklift 2/3 and more of the time. Computer, scale and drum handlers up to 1/3 of the time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PPE REQUIRED
Work near moving mechanical parts; toxic or caustic chemicals; and outdoor weather conditions up to 1/3 of the time. Loud noise. Safety (steel-toe) shoes required. Safety glasses required.
