Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Box Truck Driver supports the comprehensive business through the delivery of products to customers, pick-up and delivery of products from outside/3rd party vendors and pick-up and delivery of products produced by manufacturing for the DollyShop. This role is Monday through Friday
  • 7:00AM to 3:30PM.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive box truck
  • Delivery and pick-up 3rd party products as instructed
  • Load and unload the box truck with shipments
  • Maintain driver log and follow necessary safe driving precautions and DOT regulations
  • Additional non-driving responsibilities
  • Other support as necessary and requested by manager.
EDUCATION
  • High School diploma required or
GED. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Sit down forklift experience required Strong prior experience in a driving a box truck and utilizing material handling equipment Extremely positive attitude/be a great team player Have high energy Understand the difference between activity and accomplishment Clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; use hand to handle, or feel objects, tool or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is frequently required to climb and balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear and smell. The employee must regularly lift up to 150 pounds and move up to 2500 pounds on wheels. Specific vision abilities required to by this job include close vision and color vision.
