Job Description

Seats Incorporated is currently seeking to fill a Material Handler position on our first shift to support our production areas and to load and unload trucks.
Summary:
Material Handlers will use equipment such as fork trucks, order pickers, two-wheel carts, bins, and pallet jacks to locate raw or finished materials to be distributed to work areas, stocked, or restocked. Additionally, Material Handlers will open containers and move materials within the plant, yard, and work areas as needed for storage or production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Operate equipment such as fork trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and order pickers Ability to read and follow written and oral work instructions in English to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Ability to navigate computer systems to look up parts locations, check and record inventory, and reference production tables. Maintain identifying tags and labels for materials Ability to identify, analyze, and correct inventory problems. Maintain records by conducting regular inventory cycle counts. Keep aisles clean and clear. Ability to communicate well with others across departments Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and or move up to 75lbs We currently have openings on the following shifts: 1st shift: 4:00 am-2:30 pm Monday through Thursday, with overtime possible.
  • Friday overtime may be mandatory
  • Saturday overtime is always voluntary

  • Seats Incorporated offers an hourly wage starting at $20.
90 per hour with an opportunity for progressive increases starting after 2 months and every 6 months afterward based on performance to a maximum of $23.80 per hour.
