We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure materials are received, organized, inventoried, and delivered throughout our manufacturing facility so production stays on schedule. As a Material Handler, you will: Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and receiving documentation. Complete incoming inspections and verify certificates of conformance when required. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are properly stored. Organize warehouse inventory and maintain clean, safe storage areas. Move materials from receiving to warehouse locations efficiently and safely. Deliver materials to production departments and stage materials for assembly. Rotate inventory using proper inventory control practices. Maintain receiving docks, warehouse areas, and material storage locations. Assist with waste disposal coordination and general housekeeping. Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing or residential construction experience. Forklift experience (certification preferred or willingness to become certified). Inventory or warehouse organization experience. Work Environment This position is performed in a manufacturing environment where employees are regularly exposed to machinery, dust, noise, and changing temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe boots, is required. Physical Requirements Standing and walking throughout the workday. Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and climbing. Frequently lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Safe operation of forklifts and material handling equipment. Good vision, depth perception, and awareness of surroundings. Schedule Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:20 PM Overtime may be required based on production needs.
