Job Description
Performs general warehouse duties including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and products. Operates warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Job Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and products, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
- Unload trucks and containers using forklifts or other material handling equipment.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick and stage orders accurately according to pick lists or customer requirements.
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
