Warehouse Associate - Temp-to-Hire Sun Prairie, WI | $17.00-$18.00/hour We are hiring Warehouse Associates for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Sun Prairie, WI. This position involves order fulfillment, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse duties. Pay & Schedule 1st Shift Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-approximately 5:30 PM 1-hour unpaid lunch May need to stay as late as 6:30 PM depending on daily shipping needs Starting pay: $17.00/hour 2nd Shift Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM-8:00 PM 30-minute unpaid lunch Starting pay: $18.00/hour , including $1.00/hour shift differential Opportunity for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs. Job Responsibilities Pull customer orders using an RF scanner Pack and prepare orders for shipment Scan and verify products, quantities, and other order information Print and apply shipping labels Receive, stock, and put away inventory Perform inventory counts and replenishment Investigate misplaced inventory and report issues to a lead or supervisor Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Operate a forklift after training/certification, as needed Perform other warehouse duties as assigned Second shift requires flexibility and the ability to work in multiple areas of the warehouse , including pulling, packing, stocking, receiving, and inventory. First shift employees will also have opportunities to cross-train as workload allows. Qualifications Previous warehouse/distribution experience preferred; 3+ months is a plus Forklift certification or willingness to become certified preferred Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Basic computer skills preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying Ability to climb ladders and stairs Regularly lift up to 20 lbs., frequently up to 70 lbs., and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Ability to work additional hours as business needs require Work Environment Indoor, temperature-controlled warehouse environment with moderate exposure to dust, dirt, heat, cold, or humidity. Pay Details:
