Harmer Steel Products Co. is excited to offer the following employment opportunity at our new Davisville, WV branch. Harmer Steel is a leading supplier of railroad rail, crane rail and accessories. Machine Operator/Warehouse Worker Applicant must:

• Possess Valid Driver's License
• Pass Drug Screening
• Have reliable transportation to work and ability to show up on time
• Have willingness to learn
• Be a self-motivated individual with good people skills
• Be willing to work some overtime when needed
• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience using shop machinery
• Computer skills are a plus

Successful applicants will be responsible for supporting daily operations in our shop and warehouse. Responsibilities include cleaning parts and tools, pulling items from inventory and packaging for shipment, keeping shop and work area clean and safe, loading/unloading trucks with forklifts, and processing paperwork. Experience working in an industrial/metal shop is strongly preferred. Future tasks include operating a horizonal bandsaw to accurately cut rail to specified lengths and operating a 100-ton punch machine or hydraulic drill to accurately make specified holes in rail. This job requires repeated physical motion, moving steel rails.
