Shipton's Big R is a farm/ranch retail corporation that has been in business for 77 years and counting! We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable and engaging Part-Time Yard Associate for our Sheridan, WY store.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding, knowledgeable customer service regarding feed and ranch products. Safely operate a forklift to organize merchandise in the yard area and load merchandise into customer vehicles. Safely unload freight trucks. Other duties as assigned. Maintain a clean and organized yard area.

Job Requirements:

Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers through normal social skills. Must be able to read, write and interpret basic information. Must have basic math skills. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an extended period of time. Must be able to work with and around the products we carry including feed, seed, poultry (chickens, ducks, geese and the like) or small animals. Must have reliable transportation. Computer skills with the ability to search the internet. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug and alcohol test. Must be forklift certified or have the ability to be forklift certified. Benefits available for Part-Time employees include Employee Discount following a 90 day waiting period.
